Dépôts Pétroliers de Fos (DPF) is an independent company set up in 1970 with the main objective of receiving, storing and shipping refined petroleum products.
With multi-modal shipping and transport facilities working 24/7, DPF handles each year about 8 million m3 of products and can store up to 860 000 m3 at any given time.
Located in the industrial port of Fos-sur-Mer, DPF enjoys strategic access, including an opening onto the Mediterranean sea.
A property operator of the Marseille port area (Grand Port Autonome de Marseille), which is under the control of the French State, DPF also plays a major role as a regional economic player.

Capacity| Most of the facilities for both incoming and outgoing products operate round the clock 24/7. Only the truck transport is run on a different schedule, and works 6 days a week, from 02.00 until 17.00 h. 4 wharfs are dedicated to the ships and tankers to which DPF can be connected | 1 wharf is specifically appointed for barges | 9 exclusively operated ducts are linked to the seaport at Marseille | 2 exclusively operated ducts are linked to the pipelines | 17 exclusively operated loading stations allow 17 tanker trucks to be loaded at the same time | 1 station is dedicated to loading rail tankers, again exclusively operated by DPF | 1 vapour recovery device | units for the input of additives
